The second event of the season for PEI’s Team Suzanne Birt, the Oakville Labour Day Classic, got underway Friday evening at the Oakville Curling Club. Their opening game was a rematch of the final of last weekend’s Oakville Fall Classic, with Team Birt winning this time over Jamie Sinclair and her Charlotte NC team, by an 8-1 score in 5 ends.
