Three PEI curling facilities have now replaced hand-painted houses with pre-printed ones made of plastic mesh, eliminating the tricky painting process, making it easier to display complex logos, advertising and other graphics, and ensuring the colour doesn’t run in the event of an ice plant breakdown. The Cornwall Curling Club is the latest to do this, joining the Montague and Silver Fox curling clubs.

Cornwall’s new houses were made possible by sponsors Upstreet Craft Brewing, Beaton’s Wholesale / Carhartt, Good’s Your Independent Grocer, and Sam’s Family Restaurant & Pub. The three-year agreement will pay for the houses and provide additional Club revenue.
When the ice melts at the end of the season, the houses are hung up to dry and used again the next season.
Montague Curling Club houses hung up to dry last April.
