LIVERPOOL, N.S. (by Jason Simmonds) – Adam Casey and his teammates with the Jason Gunnlaugson rink are headed to the 2021 Tim Hortons Canadian Curling Trials, presented by AGI, in Saskatoon, Sask., Nov. 20-28.

Casey, who lives in Winsloe, P.E.I., and grew up in Seven Mile Bay, plays third stone for the Manitoba-based Gunnlaugson team that went 4-2 (won-lost) in the round-robin and won two playoff games at the 2021 Home Hardware Curling Pre-Trials event in Liverpool, N.S.
Gunnlaugson opened the playoff round with an 8-6 win over Glenn Howard on Oct. 30 and punched their ticket to the Olympic trials with a 9-8 victory over Tanner Horgan in the A-side final on Oct. 31.
The 2021 Home Hardware Curling Pre-Trials event determined the final two men’s and women’s entries for the Olympic trials.
