CORNWALL, P.E.I. — The rebranding of the Cornwall Curling Club is now complete, and the new name includes a world champion.

A small ceremony on Jan. 5 featured the unveiling of the Cornwall Curling Club, Home of World Champion Lauren Lenentine.

“It’s really special,” said the 21-year-old daughter of Robbie and Jennifer Lenentine of New Dominion, P.E.I. “I started (curling) here when I was seven. Ever since then, they have been so supportive, and I really appreciate it.”
