Ella Lenentine & Mitchell Schut Win PEI Canada Games Mixed Doubles Trial

The PEI Canada Games Mixed Doubles Trial wrapped up on Sunday afternoon at the Montague Curling Club.

In semi-final play, Ella Lenentine/Mitchell Schut beat the Sydney Howatt/Liam Kelly team 10-5. Rachel MacLean/Chase MacMillan were undefeated in round robin play and advanced directly to the final, but lost the first championship game 11-2 against Lenentine/Schut, forcing the sudden death final. The Lenentine/Schut team won the game over the MacLean/ MacMillan by a 7-5 score.

Ella Lenentine and Mitchell Schut earn the right to represent PEI at the 2023 Canada Games in February.
