PEI’s Brett Gallant and Erin Carmody rinks are at 2-1 and 1-2 respectively after Monday morning play against Manitoba at the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors in Salmon Arm BC.  Gallant doubled the Sam Good rink 8-4, while Carmody fell 11-2 to defending champion Kaitlyn Lawes of Winnipeg,  giving up five points in the seventh end.

PEI plays Nova Scotia in the evening draw, at 11 pm Atlantic.
