The tenth annual George’s Deck & Recovery Funspiel for curlers under 13 years of age takes place January 10 at the Montague Curling Rink. This event is FREE of charge, and includes a complementary lunch as well. It’s open to U13 curlers from all Island clubs, with entry limited to the first 16 teams that register. Update: The draw is now set for Saturday’s George’s Deck and Recovery Under 13 Funspiel at the Montague Curling Club, probably the only curling event on PEI that includes both free admission and a free lunch.

The 12 teams of young curlers hit the ice starting at 10 am, each playing three, 4-end games, with prize presentations taking place at 3:30 pm.
