Prince Edward Island has seven active curling clubs - the three sheet Western Community club in Alberton, four sheet facilities in O’Leary (Maple Leaf Curling Club), Crapaud (Crapaud Community Curling Club), and the Cornwall and Montague curing clubs. The Charlottetown Curling Club has five sheets of ice, while the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club in Summerside has six. All seven clubs offer free instruction at the start of each curling season (October for most clubs), and a full variety of leagues for all age groups. Curling has also been offered on arena ice recently at the Eastern Kings Sportsplex in Souris, and the arena in Belfast.
