The Coaching awards, as voted on by all the coaches, and the Fairplay awards for sportsmanship, as voted on by the players, were awarded during the closing ceremonies for the M&M Meat Shops Provincial Curling Championships, which wrapped up yesterday in Montague.
The junior women’s Fairplay award went to Sarah Keen, third on the Megan Davies rink from Charlottetown, while the junior men’s award went to Alex Matters, who skipped a team out of the Charlottetown Curling Club.

The Junior Men’s coaching award went to Glen MacLean, who coached the winning Matthew MacLean rink from the Maple Leaf Curling Club in O’Leary, while the Junior Women’s coaching award went to Carolyn MacPhee, coach of Montague’s Leah Deveau team.
