The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacies PEI Masters Curling Championships, for curlers age 60 and over, get underway on Monday January 25 at the Crapaud Community Curling Club, with eleven men’s teams, and four women’s rinks entered, including the defending champion John Holmes and Jeanne Duffenais rinks from the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club in Summerside. Duffenais will be looking for her seventh-straight Masters title.
Teams will play eight-end games in a double-knockout format, with the finals on Thursday, January 28.
Monday draws are at 10 am and 2 pm, with Tuesday play at 10 am and 12:30 and 3 pm. Games on Wednesday and Thursday are at 10 am and 2 pm.

Winners and runners-up advance to the Maritime Masters Championships, February 14-17 at the Beaver Curling Club in Moncton.
Winners may also participate in the Canadian Masters, March 28-April 4 in Saint John.
