This year’s field includes Bingyu Wang (skip of Team China, the 2010 Olympic bronze medallist), Kathy O’Rourke (the 2010 Scotties Tournament of Hearts runner-up from P.E.I.), Erika Brown (the 2010 United States women’s champion), Liudmilla Privivkova (the Russian skip at the 2010 Winter Olympics), Amber Holland (the 2010 Saskatchewan women’s champion), former provincial champions Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon) and Michelle Englot (Regina), Sherry Middaugh of Ontario, and many other elite curlers from Canada.

Proceeds from the event go to the Dr. Sandra Schmirler Scholarship at the University of Regina.
