Ice preparation is wrapping up at the Montague Curling Rink, with the ice now painted white. The circles will be painted on Tuesday or Wednesday, with the ice ready for curling by the end of the week.

The Montague club is hosting the Gahan Brewery Cashspiel, an Atlantic Curling Tour event, Oct. 29-31,  the Pepsi Provincial Junior Championships, January 2-4, and the Ferguson Funeral Homes Provincial Stick Curling Championships, Feb. 1-3.
