There was no shortage of drama during both the men’s and women’s final draws of the ninth annual Rodd Curling Classic Sunday at the Charlottetown Curling Club.

The men’s final featured a pair of Charlottetown teams going head-to-head with Robert Campbell’s rink stealing a point in the extra ninth end to win 6-5 over Peter Gallant’s rink after a measurement confirmed Brett Gallant’s last stone was a little heavy.

Over on the women’s side, Canadian Scotties silver medallist Kathy O’Rourke and her team stole two in the final end to come from behind and defeat Suzanne Birt’s rink 6-5.
