Rock Solid Productions Inc. is a marketing agency specializing in the Olympic sport of curling.
Rocks & Rings Program Description: The Capital One Rocks & Rings program visits participating schools for a full school day. We take over the gym as classes take turns visiting for 40 minutes sessions of fun and instruction. Various drills, relays and team-building activities are used to introduce students to the sport of curling. It is a highly interactive program with the emphasis on fun! Unique indoor floor curling equipment is used to provide a true curling experience without requiring ice!

Job Description:
– Directly delivering basic curling instruction to elementary aged children in the schools
– Ensuring timely arrival at school
– Setting up and cleaning up gymnasium
– Monthly reporting of participation statistics
Skills/Qualifications Required:
– Energetic and enthusiastic
– Strong verbal communication
– Ability to organize, control, and generate enthusiasm in a classroom of 20-30 students
– Ability to work independently
– Good organization and time management skills
Preferred Skills:
– Experience teaching, or coaching elementary aged children in a sport, camp, daycare, or school setting is an asset
– Knowledge of the sport of Curling is an asset, but not a requirement
Special Requirements:
– Access to a vehicle is a requirement for this position (on the days that you will be working)
– Willingness to travel to schools outside of home region is a plus (compensated for travel)
– Must be available for a minimum of 1-2 days per week, more preferred
– Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector) is required prior to beginning work in schools
