MacDonald, Bernard, Smith, Gallant post wins in Tankard’s opening draw (Journal)

by Jason Simmonds. SUMMERSIDE – The opening draw of the 2011 Labatt Tankard provincial men’s curling championship is in the books.

Winning rinks included Charlottetown Curling Club (CCC) rinks skipped by Peter Gallant, Calvin Smith and defending champion and Summerside native Rod MacDonald, along with Mel Bernard of the host Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club in Summerside.
