(by Jason Simmonds) SUMMERSIDE – Three Charlottetown Curling Club rinks emerged victorious in Draw 2 of the 2011 Labatt Tankard provincial men’s curling championship here at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club on Thursday afternoon.

Rob Warren scored four points in the first end, and never looked back en route to a 7-3 triumph over clubmate David Ross; Kevin Champion edged Grant Somers of the Silver Fox 7-6, and Eddie MacKenzie counted one with last-rock advantage in the 10th end to get by the CCC’s Bill Hope 7-6.

Following is tonight’s 7 p.m. draw:

Barry Cameron vs. John Likely

Rod MacDonald vs. Mel Bernard

Tom Fetterly vs. John Desrosiers

Peter Gallant vs. Calvin Smith
