Team P.E.I. and Team Saskatchewan players were the centre of attention Thursday as fans lined up at the HeartStop Lounge for autographs from Canada’s provincial women curling champions.

There have been daily autograph sessions held throughout the Scotties Tournament of Hearts at the Civic Centre.

Linda Acorn and her granddaughter, Sara MacLean, got Team P.E.I.’s autographs first.

“They’re from P.E.I. and I’m from P.E.I. I like to try to support the home team,” Acorn said of the Island team skipped by Suzanne Birt.

Afterwards they moved over to the Saskatchewan lineup.

“They’re going to be Team Canada next year, so I want their autographs,” said Acorn of the Amber Holland-skipped squad.

“If they keep playing the way they are, they’ll win it for sure,” said MacLean.
