PEI loses to Quebec and Alberta to slip to 3-5 at Canadian Firefighters

PEI’s Gordon MacFadyen rink lost 7-3 to Quebec and 8-3 to Alberta in round robin play today at the 52nd Canadian Firefighters Muscular Dystrophy Hydrant Curling Championship, being played at the Ogden Legion Curling Club in Calgary. Saskatchewan and BC lead, with 8-1 and 7-1 records, respectively. Alberta and Quebec both have three losses, while Northwest Territories and Manitoba have four. Southern and Northern Ontario are both tied with PEI at 3-5.  Round robin play wraps up on Thursday, when PEI takes on Southern Ontario and winless New Brunswick. The finals are Sunday at 1 pm Calgary time.
