PEI’s Donald Clarey rink lost 8-2 to the Doug MacKenzie rink of Halifax in this morning’s quarter-final round at the Molson Cashspiel at the Mayflower Curling Club in Halifax. The Island foursome, who will be participating in The Dominion Curling Club Championships in Richmond BC Nov. 21-26, finished round robin play yesterday with a 3-1 win-loss record to advance to the money round. PEI’s Kim Dolan rink went 2-2 in the women’s section, and did not advance to the 12:30 pm semi-finals.
