Upcoming entry deadlines for PEI curling championships

The following PEI Curling Association provincial curling championships have entry deadlines in the near future. All entries must be made online at PEICurling.com. Payment, either online or by cheque, is due a week after the entry deadline.

Entries for the Scotties Tournament of Hearts provincial women’s curling championship, and the Future Scotties women’s developmental event are due January 3 (note change from previously-announced date). Both events are scheduled for the Charlottetown Curling Club from January 20-23. Entry fee for the Scotties is $50 per player plus a $35 per player per season CCA competitor fee. Entry fee for the Future Scotties is $25 per player.

The PEI Masters Curling Championships, for male and female curlers age 60 and over, takes place Jan. 23-26 at the Maple Leaf Curling Club in O’Leary. Entries are due Dec. 26, with entry fee set at $50 per player.

Entries are due Dec. 30 for the Labatt Tankard provincial men’s curling championship, which takes place Jan. 26-31 at the newly-renovated Cornwall Curling Club. Entry fee is $50 per player plus a $35 per player per season CCA competitor fee.

Entries have already closed for the Pepsi Provincial Juniors Curling Championships, Dec. 29-Jan. 2 at the Charlottetown Curling Club (note venue change). Six men’s and four women’s teams are competing.
