The Propeller Brewing Company men’s and SKYY Vodka women’s cashspiels wrap up today at the CFB Halifax Curling Club. PEI’s Brett Gallant rink is among the men’s quarter-finalists, and plays Peter Burgess of Nova Scotia at 9 this morning. The semi-finals are at noon, with the men’s and women’s finals at 3 pm.

Gallant finished round robin play with a 3-1 win-loss record in his pool, while Burgess went 4-0. The other PEI team at the event, the Sarah Fullerton rink, PEI’s reigning Junior Women’s champs, went 0-3 in women’s round robin play. The noon women’s semis see Kelly MacIntosh play Tanya Hilliard, and Colleen Jones play defending women’s event champion Marie Christianson.
