Cornwall Deputy Mayor Corey Frizzell came up a little short this evening as he threw the ceremonial first rock at the opening ceremonies, held just before the second draw at the PEI Tankard, being played at the Cornwall Curling Club. Sweepers Cornwall Curling Club President Jamie Ballem (left), and PEI Curling Association President George Koke (right) were unable to get the rock to the first button, much less the one at the other end of the rink.
