Senior men’s – tonights game starts at 7 pm

Toniight’s game in the Credit Unions of PEI Provincial Senior Men’s Curling Championships, which was originally scheduled for 6 pm at the Crapaud Community Curling Club, is now starting at 7. The previous draw was delayed two hours due to weather and road conditions.

Tonight’s game is the “C” final of this triple-knockout, between the Mel Bernard rink from the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club, and the Bill Hope foursome from the Charlottetown and Cornwall Curling Clubs. In this afternoon’s C semi-finals, Hope beat Blair Jay of the Silver Fox 9-2, and Bernard beat the Rod MacDonald/John Likely team 8-5. The winner of this game will advance to the two game championship round, Monday at 1 and 6 pm, which also includes the A final winner, Charlie Wilkinson, and MacDonald/Likely, who won the B section.

The PEI Senior Men’s champ wil advance to the Canadian Seniors championships, March 17-25 in Abbotsford BC.
