Two local curlers are heading for the nationals .
Gordon MacDonald, Montague and Floyd Stewart, Murray Harbour, the top two men’s stick curlers in the province, will be wearing the team PEI jackets at the national championship in Regina.
This is the second trip to the nationals for the pair who took up stick curling about four years ago.
Stick curling, where the stones are delivered using a stick to push it down the ice, has brought back a good number of seniors to the sport of curling in recent years said Mr Stewart.
