PEI’s Gaudet rink picks up 1st win at Brier

PEI’s Mike Gaudet rink has picked up its first win at the Brier in Saskatoon, an 8-6 victory over New Brunswick’s Terry Odishaw team, aided by two triples. Gaudet’s record is now 1-5, tied for last place with Brad Gushue’s Newfoundland and Labrador team. Quebec also has only one win, but has played one less game, with a 1-4 record. Odishaw is 2-4. Alberta’s Kevin Koe leads at 6-0, following an 8-1 drubbing of Gushue this morning.
