The 1 pm Sunday men’s final is set at the Sun Life Financial Players’ Championship at Summerside’s Credit Union Place and live on Global Television, with John Epping taking on Glenn Howard.

In tonight’s semi-finals,   Epping scored a triple in the seventh end and stole a single in the final frame to overcome a 4-2 deficit and defeat seven-time event winner and defending champion Kevin Martin by a 6-4 score.  The other semi was won by the Glenn Howard foursome, who defeated the Mike McEwen team 7-3, aided by a four point third end.

Epping’s team includes Glenn Howard’s son Scott at second.
