Sportsnet Announces 2012-13 Grand Slam of Curling Event Schedule

– Season kicks off with The Masters, November 14-18 in Brantford, ON –

– Kelowna, B.C., Port Hawkesbury, N.S. and Toronto round out host cities for 2012-13 series–

 TORONTO  – Sportsnet has announced its 2012-13 Grand Slam of Curling event schedule, which gets underway November 14 with The Masters in Brantford, ON and features events in Kelowna, B.C., Port Hawkesbury, N.S. and Toronto.

Owned and operated by Sportsnet, the Grand Slam of Curling is an elite series of men’s and women’s curling events which are part of the World Curling Tour and feature the best teams from across Canada and around the world. Sportsnet’s 2012-13 Grand Slam of Curling event schedule is as follows:

The Masters, November 14-18, 2012

Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, Brantford, ON

The Canadian Open, December 12-16, 2012

Prospera Place, Kelowna, B.C.

Tickets can be purchased at the Prospera Place box office near Gate 1 or at www.selectyourtickets.com

The National, January 23-27, 2013

Civic Centre, Port Hawkesbury, N.S.

Tickets will go on sale starting October 9 and can be purchased at the Civic Centre box office at 902-625-2591 or at www.phcivic.com

 

The Players’ Championship, April 16-21, 2013

Mattamy Athletic Centre, Toronto

Ticket information, including on sale date, will be announced at a later date

Sportsnet will air all of the Grand Slam of Curling events, and will partner with CBC to broadcast The Masters and The Players’ Championship. Broadcast details will be announced in the coming weeks.
