Carmody, Ramsay, and the rest of the Webster rink off to Manitoba for weekend cashspiel

PEI natives Erin Carmody and Geri-Lynn Ramsay, now living in Calgary, along with their skip, Crystal Webster, and lead Sam Preston are headed to the Fort Rouge Curling Club in Winnipeg this weekend, for the $60,000 Manitoba Lotteries Women’s Curling Classic. The winning team will take home $15,000. The opening draws are on Friday morning, with the final on Monday. The 32-team field includes the Heather Smith-Dacey rink from Halifax, Ontario’s Sherry Middaugh foursome who won the Autumn Gold Classic in Calgary two weekends ago, the hometown Cathy Overton-Clapham team, Heather Nedohin and her Edmonton rink, and teams skipped by Calgarians Cheryl Bernard and Shannon Kleibrink.
