Students try curling at Sport Fair

A large number of students lined up to try out the sport of curling this morning at the annual Sport Fair, which continues this afternoon and tomorrow at the Indoor Soccer Complex in Stratford, with upwards of 2,400 students, and 20 sports in attendance. Students had the chance to try out both traditional and wheelchair curling, using plastic curling “stones” rolling on steel bearings. Health and Wellness Minister Doug Currie also dropped by to check out the wheelchair curling, where curlers deliver from a wheelchair using a delivery stick.
