PEI men finish The Dominion round robin at 1-5, PEI women are 1-4 with one game left vs NL

The final women’s round robin draw goes at 9:15 Atlantic this evening at The Dominion Curling Club Championships in Scarborough Ontario. The men’s round robin is now over, with PEI’s Alan Inman rink from the Crapaud Community Curling Club finishing with a 1-5 win-loss record, following a 9-1 loss to Ontario, and a 7-2 loss to Newfoundland and Labrador. The PEI women’s rink from the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club, skipped by Nola Murphy are at 1-4, after losing a close 6-5 game to undefeated Ontario (5-0) this afternoon, and play Newfoundland and Labrador (1-4) in the final draw. Neither Island rink will make the playoffs.

Manitoba and Saskatchewan are 6-0 on the men’s side, with Alberta 5-1, and three teams – Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Larador at 4-2.

Going into the final women’s division round robin draw, Ontario is first at 5-0, with Nova Scotia, skipped by PEI native Marion MacAulay, Manitoba, and Quebec 4-1.

Tiebreakers and semi-finals go Friday, with the finals on Saturday.
