Everyone age 19 and over is invited to participate in the 26th annual Hemphill GM Open Funspiel, which gets underway the evening of January 11, and continues through the afternoon of January 13 at the Silver Fox Curling & Yacht Club in Summerside. Entry is limited to 48 teams (6 divisions) and entry fee is $140 per team, Non-Silver Fox teams are required to pre-pay. Entry deadline is Monday, January 7.
The food and entertainment menu includes a mussel feast Friday evening from 8:30-9:30, followed by music by “Misty Water”. There’s entertainment Saturday afternoon from 2:30-5:30, and a hip of beef buffet at 5 pm.
