SUMMERSIDE – It’s been a slow start for P.E.I.’s Nola Murphy rink at her home club in the 2013 Canadian senior curling championships.

The Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club rink is winless after three draws. P.E.I.’s latest setback came at the hands of British Columbia by a 9-5 score on Sunday night.

That was preceded by losses of 13-6 to the Catherine Derick rink from Quebec, and an 11-7 setback to Alberta’s Deb Santos rink.

Murphy, third stone Donna Arsenault, second stone Elspeth Carmody and lead Laurie Tirone play one game today (Monday). That is against Manitoba’s Lois Fowler at 2:30 p.m. It is also Manitoba’s lone game of the day.
