NAIT men, Fanshawe women win college gold

The NAIT Ooks men’s team and the Fanshawe Falcons women’s team have won the 2013 Canadian College Athletic Association National Curling Championships.

In the men’s final the Ooks defeated the MacEwan Griffins 7-5 who took home the silver medal. The Fanshawe Falcons were awarded the Bronze medal.

The women’s final saw the Fanshawe Falcons defeat the NAIT Ooks 8-5 who in turn captured the Silver medal. The Bronze medal was won by the MacEwan Griffins

The Holland College Hurricanes, skipped by Matthew MacLean, went 2-5 in the event.
