Gushue rink makes playoff round at The Shorty, with big win over Jacobs

The Brad Gushue rink, which includes PEI natives Brett Gallant and Adam Casey, have now made the playoffs in all three events they have participated in this season. After losing their opener in this weekend’s AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Curling Classic in Brockville, they won their next four games, including a big 7-5 come from behind win this afternoon over Ontario’s Brad Jacobs team, which includes former Gushue teammate Ryan Fry. Gushue was trailing 5-4 after six ends, blanked the seventh, and recorded a triple in the final end for the win.
