Four Island curling teams will be spending their Thanksgiving weekend in Halifax, for the Propeller Brewing Company men’s, and SKYY Vodka women’s Atlantic Curling Tour cashspiels, both at the CFB Halifax Curling Club.
PEI men’s rinks in the 20 team men’s field are skipped by reigning men’s champ Eddie MacKenzie, along with Blair Weeks and Jamie Newson.
The Kathy O’Rourke rink are the only PEI women’s team entered in the 12 team women’s section, although PEI natives Marion MacAulay and Anne Dillon are skipping Nova Scotia rinks.
Opening draw goes 4 pm Friday, while the finals are Monday at 3.
