The Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club in Summerside is the host for the Pepsi Provincial Junior Curling Championships, for curlers under the age of 21, from December 19-23 2013 (start and end dates may change slightly depending on the number of teams entered). Defending champions are the Veronica Smith rink from the Cornwall Curling Club, and the Tyler Smith rink, who also curled out of Cornwall, but has a new team this year, from the Montague Curling Club. The winning junior men’s and women’s rinks will advance to the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors, January 18-26, 2014 in Liverpool NS.
Entry deadline is Nov. 21, and team entry fee is $180. Entries must be made online at PEICurling.com. Junior entries also require a coach who is at least Level I certified.
