The road to the Olympics stops at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club this weekend, as the 14th annual Foxy Lady Bonspiel gets underway on Friday. This bonspiel, now the largest Ladies’ bonspiel in the Maritimes, has attracted 144 women, divided into 36 teams, each representing a country from the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Sheila Compton, right, chair of the event and skip of Team Norway (complete with their famous pants), along with her team of, from second right, Debbie MacMurdo, Debbie Ramsay, and Marilyn Mansfield, are ready to take on Team Great Britain, from left, skipped by Taffy Milligan and also including Michelle Silliker, Lindsay MacLeod, and Shelley Lilly.
