KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Eddie MacKenzie scored a pair of points in the ninth end to lead P.E.I. past Nova Scotia’s Jamie Murphy 7-5 at the Canadian men’s curling championship Sunday.

Mackenzie’s victory moved his rink to 1-1 after Draw 3 at the Tim Hortons Brier, while Murphy fell to 0-2.
