The teams, both from the Silver Fox Curling & Yacht Club in Summerside, who will place first and second have now been determined in the KFC Provincial Under 13 Curling Championship at the Cornwall Curling Club. The order of finish will be determined in the Page A vs B game, Sunday at 1:30 pm. The Lauren Ferguson rink qualified first out of the triple knockout to advance to the Page round, with a 7-4 win over their clubmates, the Connor Lilly foursome on Saturday morning. Lilly took the B qualifier with an 8-3 win over defending champion Mitchell Schut and his team from the host Cornwall club in the afternoon draw, aided by a steal of four points in the third end.

Third and fourth place in the event will be determined with the Page C vs D bronze medal game, also Sunday at 1:30, with the C and D qualifiers from the 10 am Sunday draw advancing to that Page game.

The C qualifier game will be between Cornwall’s Hayden Ford and Montague’s Damien Collings rinks, with the Schut squad taking on Katie Shaw and her team from the Charlottetown Curling Complex in the D.

Eight teams are taking part in the event.
