The Brad Gushue rink, which includes PEI native Brett Gallant, and PEI’s Team Casey, skipped by former Gushue rink member Adam Casey, meet this morning at 9:30 Atlantic in a “B” section semi-final at the Challenge Château Cartier in Gatineau QC.  The winner will face either Niklas Edin of Sweden or Mark Dacey of Halifax in a “B” qualifier game at 3 pm. Casey lost his “A” semi on Friday, 7-3 to Don Bowser of Kingston ON, while Reid Carruthers of Winnipeg edged Gushue 6-5 in another “A” semi. Bowser, and Winnipeg’s Mike McEwen won the “A” qualifiers, over Carruthers and Dacey, respectively.

Quarter-finals go Sunday at 10 am Atlantic, with the semis at 1:30, and the final at 4:30 pm.
