Change is coming the Brier and Scotties this year, with relegation/pre-qualification making its debut. In the Brier, one of Nova Scotia or PEI will definitely not be in the main event, battling Yukon and Nunavut for one spot. In the Scotties, Northern Ontario, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Quebec and Nunavut will play for two spots in the main event.
