Birt falls to NL (Journal)

MOOSE JAW, Sask. – The Suzanne Birt rink lost its second game at the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts on Sunday afternoon.

Birt, third stone Shelly Bradley, second stone Michelle McQuaid and lead Susan McInnis dropped a 7-4 decision to Newfoundland and Labrador’s Heather Strong foursome. The P.E.I. representative, which curls out of the Charlottetown Curling Complex, will take a 1-1 (won-lost) record into Sunday night’s game against Northern Ontario’s Tracy Horgan (1-1).
