The Crapaud Community Curling Club reports that they had a successful cashspiel on  October 9 and 10, with 8 teams taking part, including a team from off-Island.

They will be having early registration for regular season curling this evening, October 22nd, beginning at 7 pm. Everyone who registers early will receive a 10% discount off their memberships. New curlers will receive an additional 10% and members who sign up a new curler will receive an additional 10%.

On October 24th, there will be a car rally starting and ending at the curling club.The cost is $20 per person or $100 per team. Monday night curling starts Nov. 9. Tuesday night curling, with teams with at least 3 new curlers (experienced curler must play lead), starts Nov. 10.  Thursday night curling starts Nov 12. For each of these draws, teams decide at start of game if they are playing 8 ends or 6 ends. Cash awards at season end for 1st through 4th place teams.
