Curl Moncton would like to announce that it is putting the Moncton Curlers’ Association (MCA) building and property on Lutz Street up for sale.

The MCA has a rich history that dates back to 1881. The present building is a result of a major expansion in the early 1950’s. Over the years, the MCA has produced many provincial championship teams led by curlers’ such as Harold and Hap Mabey, Dr. Ed Steeves, L.A. Pinder, P. Piers, Tony Richardson, Ron Ferguson and Terry Odishaw, among others.

Curl Moncton became the owner of the MCA building and property by purchasing its assets in 2013.

The sale of the MCA is part of Curl Moncton’s strategic plan to streamline its operations and create efficiencies. Benefits from the sale of the property will be redirected towards the expansion of its 80 Lockhart Avenue location into a state-of-the-art 10-sheet facility, better positioning Curl Moncton to be a recognized leader in curling, regionally, nationally and internationally.
