Montague Curl for Cancer goes Jan. 31

montaguecurlforcancerIslanders are invited to join the annual Curl for Cancer event in Montague on January 31. It’s an opportunity for both beginners and those with lots of curling experience to enjoy a social event while raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society.

The Montague event was started in the mid 80’s with help from Curl for Cancer founder Carole Kennedy, and has been going strong ever since.

Curling goes all day Sunday, January 31st at the Montague Curling Club beginning at 10:00a.m. There will also be trivia, a bake sale and many great items have been collected for the silent auction. All events are open to the public. Come have some fun even if you are not curling at the event.

For more information or to register a team please contact Larry at the Montague Curling Club (902) 838-2513 or Robyn MacDonald @ [email protected] or visit their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/Montaguecurlingrink/?fref=ts
