Team UPEI Women’s attempt to advance to their 4th straight CIS Championship has ended, after another loss at the Subway AUS Championship in the Antigonish area. The Veronica Smith-skipped team had a 2-3 record – not good enough for the playoffs, following a 7-6 loss to Dal. this afternoon. UPEI picked up  an 11-5 win over Memorial this morning. Dal sits at 5-0, with Acadia, Mt. A and UNB at 3-2.

Also not advancing, on the men’s side, is the defending UNB men’steam that includes PEI native Alex Sutherland, and also has a 2-3 record.
