Birt rink finishes play at the Scotties with 4-7 record (Journal)

GRANDE PRAIRIE, Alta. – P.E.I.’s Suzanne Birt rink has completed play at the 2016 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

 Birt, third stone Robyn Green, second stone Meaghan Hughes, lead Marie Christianson, alternate Sinead Dolan and coach Danny Christianson finished out of the playoffs at 4-7 (won-lost).
The Birt rink, which finished ninth out of the 12 teams, concluded the round robin with a 7-2 loss to Quebec’s Marie-France Larouche (5-6) on Friday morning.
