Team PEI splits Thurs. games at Cdn. Mixed, finishes play at 4 pm Fri. vs. N. Ont

There’s one game remaining for Team PEI at the Canadian Mixed at the Fort Rouge Curling Club in Winnipeg, following Seeding Pool action on Thursday, where they lost 8-5 to Newfoundland and Labrador, but downed Nunavut 12-3, stealing five points in the sixth end. The Island rink, skipped by Melissa Morrow, with Erik Brodersen throwing the final rocks each end, finishes up play at 4 pm today against Northern Ontario. PEI’s overall win-loss record is now at 2-6.
