Under 18 in Sherwood Park Alberta: PEI’s Lauren Ferguson girl’s rink are atop the standings with a 3-0 record following Wednesday play, with wins over the Yukon and Nova Scotia. They play Northern Ontario today. The Mitchell Schut boy’s team is 2-2, following a win over NL  and a loss to Sask. Team Schut faces Alberta today.

Canadian Masters in Saskatoon: PEI’s Sandy Hope women’s team has advanced to the Championship round, finishing the round robin with a 3-2 record. Bill Hope men’s rink ended round robin play at 2-4 and will go to the seeding pool.  The event wraps up on Sunday.
