The Cornwall Curling Club, a four-sheet curling facility located at 29 Cornwall Road, Cornwall PEI, is looking for a Club Manager.  Employment will commence on or about September 30, 2019 and will end on or about April 11, 2020, with an option to renew each year for the next curling season.

The position of Club Manager is, on behalf of the Board of Directors, responsible for the overall operation of the Cornwall Curling Club, including the management of staff, provision of supplies, rental of the facility, and the maintenance of financial accounts and filing systems. The goal of the position is to ensure the club operates at a high level of efficiency, providing an inviting environment for members and customers. 

As Club Manager, you will report to the Board of Directors. You will be responsible for club employees including; the ice maker, the cleaner, and all bartenders. Regular hours of work shall be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week during the normal hours of operation of the Club, although your hours of work may vary and be irregular in order to perform the duties and meet the objectives of your employment and to fulfill the obligations of the Club.

Essential requirements of the job are basic computer skills such as Word, Excel and Simply Accounting or equivalent software.  A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are also a requirement.  If you are a people person, have experience working for a non-profit organization with a volunteer board of directors, or similar managerial experience, this may be the job for you. Curling skills not required.
